Daily Logging
The log file is just a comma seperated, plain text file. It exists in the StockObserver sub folder, within "My Documents" (example: C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\Stock Observer\StockObserver.log). To view the log file, right click on the Stock Observer icon in your system tray, and choose "View Log File...", which will launch your default text/log file viewer/reader (normally notepad.exe). Also, since the StockObserver.log file exists in plain text, you can directly open it in what ever text viewer/reader you like. By default, logging is disabled. To enable/disable, right click on the Stock Observer system tray icon, right click and choose "Settings...". Within the Settings dialog, check/uncheck the "Enable Daily Logging of Closing Price." option.

Double Click Details
Double Click on the Stock Observer icon in your system tray to display a balloon tip, which contains the stock value (current price, current change, current change percent), today's high/low/open, the previous close price, and the annual range.

Enable Automatic Start
You can enable Stock Observer to automatically launch when ever you start your system. By default, Automatic start is disabled. To enable/disable, right click on the Stock Observer system tray icon and choose "Settings...". Within the Settings dialog, check/uncheck the "Enable Stock Observer to automatically start when you log onto Windows." option.
